A Love Letter From Jesus To You

My little child, I love you. (John 15:9)
I have called you by your name, you are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)
Before I formed you, I knew you. And before you were born, I consecrated you. (Jeremiah 1:5).
You did not choose me, I chose you. (John15:16).
Beloved, I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers. (3rd John 2).
Because you are precious to me, and honored, I love you. (Isaiah 43:4).
I have loved you with an everlasting love and I will continue my Constant love. (Jeremiah 31:3).
How can I abandon you? My love for you is too strong. (Hosea 11:8).
I love you so much that I hung on the cross at Calvary. I died for you, and if you believe in Me you will have everlasting life (John 3:16).
Can a woman forget her own baby and not love the child she bore? Yet, even should she forget, I will never forget you. I cannot forget you. See, I have graven you in the palm of my hands. (Isaiah 49:15-16).
For I, the Lord your God, am holding you by the right hand. (Isaiah 41:13).
I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD (Matthew 28: 20).
Do not let your heart be troubled, trust in me. (John 14:1).
I will help you. (Isaiah 41: 14).
When you pass through the deep waters, I will be with you. Your troubles will not overwhelm you. The hard trials that will come will not hurt you. (Isaiah 43:2).
When you walk through the valley of the shadows of death, do not be afraid because I am with you. My rod and my staff will comfort you. I will lead you in the path of righteousness. (Psalms 23).
I will give you peace in the midst of a storm, not as the world giveth. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27)
Peace I give which will pass all understanding and shall keep your heart and mind. (Philippians 4:7).
When you lie down do not be afraid, your sleep shall be sweet (Proverbs 3: 24).
My love for you will keep your dwelling safe (Psalm 4:8).
Beloved my eyes are upon you and I will give you hope, for I am merciful (Psalm 33:18)
You will have access to my grace and rejoice in hope while sharing in the glory of my Father. (Romans 5:2).
I will give you joy and peace. The mountains and hills will sing, and the trees will clap their hands before you. (Isaiah 55:12)
You may have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice and no one will take your joy from you. (John 16:22).
Do not worry (Luke 12:9).
Even the hairs of your head have all been counted, so there is no need to be afraid of anything. (Matthew 10:30).
The mountains may depart and the hills will be shaken but my steadfast love for you will never end. (John 54:10).
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28).
Come, my love (Solomon 2:10).
Come, I will lead you into solitude and there I will speak tenderly to your heart.
I will be true and faithful. I will show you constant love and make you mine forever. I will keep my promise, and you will really know me then as never before. (Hosea 1:14, 19-20).
I AM WHO I AM (Exodus 3:14).
I am the Lord your God. (Hosea 13:4).
Your Faithful Friend,

Jesus Christ, your Savior

I Know Who Holds 2012

We have crossed the threshhold of a new year -- a new beginning. As I look back over 2011, it was a different year, and at times, a difficult year...BUT MY GOD was with me every step of the way! 2012 is now here. I love a new year for it represents a fresh start, a brand new set of days overflowing with new dreams and unmarked possibilities, yet I also know that this year is full of unknowns. BUT, the good news is that what lies ahead is no surprise to God! I recently read in a devotional..."He has already been where we are going! That reason alone empowers us to face every tomorrow with hope, knowing whatever touches us passes through His hands, with His permission. It is not God's plan for us to dwell in fear or for fear to rule our lives. He has already set in motion the defeat and fall of every giant we will ever face. Our responsibility is to step through our fear, facing every giant in God's power and with His promises. The Holy Spirit will guide the path of His truth in its destined mark, taking down the giants lurking in each tomorrow!" I think that is something to post on your refrigerator as a reminder for 2012!!!

In Kids Klub, we have been 'driving home the truth' that we can trust God no matter what! I don't know what my year will hold, but I know WHO holds tomorrow. My God is the same yesterday, today and forever..so what is there to fear about the unknown of 2012?

We're looking forward to some awesome opportunities where we can reach out in the name of Jesus in our community for 2012! God bless you this New Year...may the Giver of every good and perfect gift bless you with heaven's blessings!

In Psalm 147:4 we read that "He [God] counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name." How well I remember laying down on the lawn as a child and staring at the stars in the evening sky...trying so desperately to count them...and then just giving up because it was an impossible task! Not only does our God count them, He names them! But while God knows and numbers the stars, YET, He is concerned about you and me... Verse 3 of Psalm 147 says, "He [God] heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." He binds our shattered hearts with sensitivity and kindness He brings healing to the depths of our souls...He cares even when we're broken by sin!

The greatness of our God is the greatness of His heart...His strength is the measure of His love...He is a tender and mighty God. I still like to look at the stars...these celestial bodies are but mere matter, yet He knows their name...so how much more must He care for us who bear His image. Because of His care for us...we can leave our cares with Him!

How we have claimed His promises time and time again...and He has been faithful! His love (and His hand) have been so evident.

One Solitary Life

He was born in an obscure village, the son of a peasant woman.

He grew up in another village, where he worked in a carpenter's shop until he was thirty. Then for three years he became a wandering preacher.

He never wrote a book. He never held an office. He never had a family or owned a house. He didn't go to college. He never visited a big city. He never travelled two hundred miles from the place where he was born. He did none of those things one usually associates with greatness. He had no credentials but himself.

He was only thirty-three when the tide of public opinion turned against him. His friends ran away. He was turned over to his enemies and went through a mockery of a trial. He was executed by the state. While he was dying, his executioners gambled for his clothing, the only property he had on earth. When he was dead he was laid in a borrowed grave through the pity of a friend.

Twenty centuries have come and gone, and today he is the central figure of the human race and the leader of mankind's progress. All the armies that ever marched, all the navies that ever sailed, all the parliaments that ever sat, all the kings that ever reigned, put together, have not affected the life of man on this earth as much as that One Solitary Life. (Dr. James Allan © 1926).

We hope you'll join us for our Easter activites -- we indeed are celebrating a Risen Savior!
